Complementing the Hydroponic Farms, the Vertical Ranch offers automated creature byproduct generation. When enabled, you can use creature seedlings to automatically produce desired drops. Standard seedlings can be crafted near an Alchemy Engine, and with advanced configuration, defeating specific bosses can yield unique boss seedlings for even more specialized production. Both the farm and ranch require power and a steady supply of sustenance to operate efficiently.
