Enhanced Durability and Utility
Say goodbye to the hesitation of using your precious Thunder Spear! This mod introduces several key improvements focused on making these weapons more practical and rewarding.
- Durability Restoration: The standard Thunder Spear now restores durability upon hitting a target with its sprint attack, removing the “too precious to use” dilemma.
- Illuminating Charge: The Charged Thunder Spear now emits light, whether held in hand or dropped on the ground, a fitting visual for an electrical weapon.
- Boosted Shock Effect: The electrical damage multiplier has been standardized to match other potent shock-based weapons like the Starcaller Staff and Volt Goats.
- Customizable Elemental Damage: Tailor the Charged Thunder Spear’s additional elemental damage to suit your specific combat needs.
- Indestructible (with a caveat): The Thunder Spear no longer disappears upon reaching zero durability. Instead, its panel damage drops to 1, but it can still be used for sprint attacks to regain durability.
- Adjustable Attack Range: Configure the standard Thunder Spear’s base attack range, defaulting to 1.
- Movement Speed Bonus: The standard Thunder Spear now provides a movement speed buff to the wielder.
- Configurable Speed Buffs: Fine-tune the movement speed bonuses to your liking.
Important Considerations
Be aware that enabling the “Boosted Shock Effect” will cause standard attacks to be treated as electrical damage. This means plant-based monsters may ignite when struck, adding a fiery new element to your battles. Crucially, all these enhancements can be individually toggled on or off within the mod’s settings menu, giving you complete control over your Don’t Starve Together experience.
