The Grue is not a foe that readily reveals itself. It can only be summoned through a specific, ritualistic act: interacting with the Shambler’s Altar while possessing a Bandage. This ensures that only the bravest, or perhaps the most desperate, will come face-to-face with this creature. Its preferred hunting ground is the oppressive blackness of 0% light, making torchless expeditions a gamble that could yield extraordinary rewards, or utter ruin.
