Core Enhancements

Monika’s Shield Breaker Reforming introduces several key changes to the base attributes and general capabilities of the hero:

• Attribute Adjustment: Speed is now increased at lower hero levels, creating a quicker start, while slightly decreasing at higher levels to better balance progression.
• Critical Success Buff: Upon landing a critical hit, the Shield Breaker now gains a potent +10% PROT and +10 Dodge for three turns, enhancing her survivability when performing exceptionally well.
• Provisionary Advantage: To aid in initial dungeon delves, the Shield Breaker now automatically includes one Antivenom in her provisions at no cost.

Combat Skill Revisions

The Shield Breaker’s offensive arsenal has been meticulously tweaked to offer new strategic possibilities and thematic consistency. Many skills have had their usability, damage modifiers, and unique effects adjusted.

Key Skill Changes:

• Puncture: While its core function remains, Puncture now boasts increased damage against marked targets and grants stealth on critical hits. However, its usability is restricted from rank 1 and targeting the final enemy position.
• Impale: This multi-target skill has been repositioned for use in ranks 2, 3, and 4. It now features armor-piercing capabilities and a slight increase in blight damage, albeit with reduced accuracy and damage modifiers.
• Expose: Now able to target the enemy’s back rank, Expose is enhanced with a higher base accuracy and the ability to mark targets for allies. It also increases the chance for the marked enemy to be critically hit.
• Captivate: This skill has seen a significant rework, gaining the ability to bypass and break guards, pull enemies forward, and inflict a potent debuff that prevents guarding and reduces enemy speed. It can also be used from rank 1.
