The Core Mechanic: Mortal and Divine Possession

The heart of this mod lies in the Nun’s ability to enter a state of heightened power, the “Divine Possession.” Triggered by specific actions, particularly defeating enemies with certain skills, this state dramatically amplifies her capabilities. While in Divine Possession, all her skills receive substantial buffs and additional effects. However, using a skill in this state will revert her back to her Mortal form, creating a dynamic ebb and flow in combat.

An intriguing hidden effect awaits: if the Nun is still in Divine Possession at the end of combat, she will unleash two powerful area-of-effect healing abilities, offering a substantial post-battle recovery for your party.

Expanded Skillset and Divine Empowerment

Each of the Nun’s skills has been reimagined, offering distinct advantages in both Mortal and Divine states:

• Smite: In its Mortal form, Smite gains a damage boost and debuffs enemies, with a chance to inflict bleed upon defeat, potentially triggering Divine Possession. In Divine Possession, it gains even greater debuffing potential, reducing enemy resistances and causing knockback, crucially, without exiting the state.
• Judgement: This skill is rebalanced for raw armor penetration in its Mortal form, still capable of initiating Divine Possession upon a kill. When possessed, Judgement unleashes a potent burning effect on all enemies.
• Dazzling Light: The Mortal version now applies a precision debuff that scales with skill level. In Divine Possession, Dazzling Light gains a significant stun chance and extends the stun duration.
• Sacred Grace: This skill in its Mortal form cleanses stuns and debuffs. Empowered by Divine Possession, it gains an increased chance to apply its effects and bonus damage to targets.
• Divine Comfort: In its Mortal state, it provides a defense buff to the entire party. When Divinely Possessed, it grants an additional heal, building upon a base healing amount.
• Flash: The Mortal form reveals all enemies and applies a significant dodge debuff. In Divine Possession, Flash offers self-buffs to Smite and Judgement, enhancing their critical hit chance and damage respectively for a limited number of battles.
• Holy Hand: This Mortal skill boosts the Nun’s own damage and accuracy. In Divine Possession, Holy Hand gains the ability to silence enemies, preventing them from using special abilities.
