Brotato players seeking to expand their arsenal and discover unique gameplay advantages will find the Combinations mod an invaluable addition. This utility mod introduces a novel system for acquiring powerful new items and weapons through clever combinations of your existing loadout.

What is the Combinations Mod?

At its core, this mod provides the framework for a “combo pack” system. Unlike traditional item acquisition, combos offer an alternative path to power. When a combo becomes available, its icon will appear in the top right corner of your screen, similar to crates. These combos are processed at the end of each wave, just before any crates you might have collected. Importantly, all combos are unique, ensuring a fresh experience with each playthrough. If a combo doesn’t suit your current strategy, you have the option to decline it, though doing so will block that specific combo for the next three waves.

Combo Items: Rewarding Strategic Collection

The mod allows for the creation of unique combo items. These can spawn when you possess a specific set of two to four items. Upon acquiring a combo item, the required items are consumed, unless the combo explicitly states otherwise. Each combo item boasts its own base spawn chance, which can be triggered through various in-game events:

• Enemy deaths grant a 10% chance of the base combo drop.
• Every 5 seconds, there is a 100% chance of triggering the combo drop.
• Leveling up provides a significant boost, with a 400% chance of a combo drop.

Only one combo item can be active at a time, and a brief 2-second cooldown is in place after picking one up before another can spawn.

Combo Weapons: Guaranteeing Shop Appearances

Beyond items, the Combinations mod also facilitates the appearance of combo weapons. These weapons become available at the start of a wave if you meet the requirements by owning two specific weapons of any tier. Only one combo weapon can appear per wave. Securing a combo weapon not only adds it to your arsenal but also guarantees its appearance in the shop for the remainder of that run.
