Ldx-Super brings a trio of distinct characters to the Brotato arena, each with their own powerful, yet challenging, traits:

• The Earthbound Spirit: This spectral survivor thrives on combat. Each kill bolsters their health, but beware – as their health dwindles, so does their movement speed, while their physical presence grows. Taking damage triggers explosive retaliation, making for a volatile and high-risk, high-reward playstyle.
• The Blessed: This character’s path is intertwined with fate. While the original “Divine Thief” aspect has been removed, their core mechanics revolve around the unpredictable ebb and flow of fortune, with growth probabilities adjusted and enemy numbers and health scaling dynamically at the end of each turn.
• The Berserker: Embracing raw aggression, the Berserker gains lifesteal and attack speed bonuses when taking damage. This synergy, coupled with an increase in enemy health and speed when they are hit, creates a frantic melee experience where survival hinges on aggressive offense.
• The ‘People’s’ Entrepreneur: A master of commerce and control. This character offers significant discounts on items, boosting harvest yields substantially. They also possess the unique ability to reduce incoming damage and directly lower enemy maximum health based on their harvest percentage, while simultaneously increasing enemy damage and mid-run harvest penalties alongside their movement speed.

The “War Child” archetype, for instance, has been enhanced with “War God’s Resilience,” granting a chance to recover from critical health thresholds, influenced by luck. Furthermore, the “Desperate State” provides stacking buffs to power, attack speed, movement speed, lifesteal, and armor as health is lost, with no upper limit within a single combat encounter.
