Unleashing Unique Active Skills

At the core of Co-op Synergies is the addition of a unique active skill for every single character. These abilities are thoughtfully crafted to reflect each character’s identity, from the Engineer’s deployable turret to the Ghost’s phasing capabilities. Unlocked at level 6 and scaling in power every six levels, these skills offer new tactical options. Their damage and healing dynamically adjust with the waves, ensuring they remain relevant even in the most challenging Endless runs.

Strategic Skill Cooldowns and Affinities

Beyond simply having an active skill, the mod introduces a nuanced cooldown system. Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, skills are categorized into three speeds: fast-recharging low-impact abilities, standard-speed abilities, and powerful, slow-recharging ultimate skills. This variety ensures different characters have distinct combat rhythms. Furthermore, the new Affinities system rewards thematic team compositions. Characters belonging to the same lore-based faction will grant both a buff and a nerf when two or more are present, adding a compelling layer of risk and reward to team building.
