While her outward demeanor suggests a bubbly personality, Sheri harbors a sharp, analytical mind and a deep-seated desire to uncover profound truths through her self-proclaimed detective work.

Mastering Sheri’s Unique Gameplay Mechanics

This mod introduces a fresh set of strategic layers to your Slay the Spire runs, centered around Sheri’s investigative prowess. Get ready to utilize and manage several new resources and effects:

• Clues: Gather these vital resources through exploration and card play. Clues act as a special resource that can empower certain cards, offering potent offensive capabilities when strategically deployed.
• Evidence Gathering: Embody the detective by examining the top cards of your draw pile. Choose to discard all cards of a specific type, and if any cards remain, you’ll draw one, with its cost reduced to zero for the current turn.
• Debunking: Adapt to your enemy’s intentions and accumulate “Debunked” stacks to trigger powerful effects. Reaching certain thresholds of “Seen Through” or “Suspicion” will Debunk your target, stripping them of a buff and applying a Debunked stack. Different enemy types require varying “Seen Through” counts to be Debunked.
• Suspicion: Be mindful of your actions! Suspicion acts as a risky resource. Reaching its cap will clear all Suspicion, reduce your maximum HP, make you Debunked, and decrease the maximum Suspicion for the remainder of the combat. Suspicion also naturally decays at the end of each turn.

The Tachibana Sheri mod is a labor of love, currently in its beta phase and undergoing continuous refinement. Expect to find nearly 60 original cards, 10 exclusive relics, and a wealth of custom art including character sprites, Debunking cut-ins, and sound effects. The mod even replaces boss battle music, offering a fresh auditory experience.
