Sakiko’s Core Mechanic: Constant Evolution

Sakiko’s defining characteristic is her dynamic deck manipulation. Throughout battles, she constantly adds and removes cards, creating a fluid and evolving strategy. Her journey, marked by setbacks and unwavering dedication to music, is reflected in her gameplay. Her starting relic, the Black and White Headband, ensures her deck grows with “Desire” cards after each encounter, while the powerful “Moonlight Sonata” allows for permanent card removal during combat, offering a fascinating trade-off between deck bloat and surgical precision.

Diverse Archetypes to Master

Sakiko boasts several distinct archetypes, each offering a unique approach to ascending the Spire:

• Dazzling: This archetype focuses on building up the new keyword [Dazzling]. Gain positive buffs to trigger damage against random enemies, scaling with the number of Dazzling stacks you possess.
• Charismatic: Enter [Charismatic Form] to gain any buff an enemy receives. This reactive playstyle allows Sakiko to benefit from enemy enhancements, amplifying her own attributes and triggering Dazzling effects.
• Shield of the Heart: Utilize the [Hype] keyword to protect your block. Instead of losing block, consume a layer of Hype, making larger decks potentially more resilient and capable of higher damage output.
• Crychic: While individually weaker, Crychic cards possess the unique ability to permanently add powerful cards to your deck. Many of these cards grant Sakiko buffs, feeding into the Dazzling archetype, while some can also provide Mantra (Divine) for increased direct damage.
• Ave Mujica: This archetype offers potent individual card effects but comes with the risk of permanently adding detrimental cards to your deck upon play, demanding careful consideration.
