A Big Bag: Expand Your Inventory in Don’t Starve Together

Are you tired of constantly juggling items and leaving valuable resources behind in Don’t Starve Together? The “A Big Bag” (大背包) mod addresses this very common survival challenge by introducing a significantly larger inventory space directly into the game.

Massive Storage Capacity

This mod adds a substantial 8×8 grid backpack to your arsenal. Unlike some inventory-related adjustments, “A Big Bag” features its own unique graphical assets and user interface, ensuring a seamless integration that doesn’t interfere with the game’s original design. Crucially, this new backpack can be equipped alongside your existing inventory slots, allowing for unprecedented item carrying potential.

Configurable Enhancements

“A Big Bag” isn’t just about raw space; it’s packed with several optional, configurable features designed to further streamline your survival efforts. These can be toggled on or off to suit your playstyle:

  • Full Stack: Automatically stacks items to their maximum capacity when the bag is opened.
  • ReFresh: Revitalizes food items and tools, restoring their freshness or durability.
  • Walk Speed: Modifies your character’s movement speed while the bag is equipped.
  • Light: Provides a subtle light source, offering a bit of protection against the darkness of night.
  • Give Items (Server Only): Automatically provides missing materials when attempting to craft an item, intended for server-side convenience.

Crafting and Customization

You can craft “A Big Bag” within the game’s “Refine” menu. The mod offers a range of crafting difficulties, allowing you to tailor the cost to your progression. Options range from extremely easy (requiring only grass) to more challenging recipes involving gold nuggets, pigskin, and nightmare fuel. An additional requirement of a purple gem is introduced if you choose to enable both the “Full Stack” and “ReFresh” features simultaneously.

Please note that due to its extensive inventory manipulation, “A Big Bag” may have compatibility conflicts with other mods that heavily alter stacking or inventory systems, such as those that allow for stacking items to 999.
