Prepare for a fresh take on a beloved character with the “Frieren: The Thousand-Year Grimoire | Balanced Gameplay Edition” mod for Brotato. This comprehensive overhaul focuses on refined gameplay mechanics and exciting new content, offering a more strategic and engaging experience for dedicated players. This new iteration boasts a unique Mod ID, allowing it to coexist with previous versions without conflict.
Refined Character Balance and Abilities
This balanced version meticulously adjusts Frieren’s core attributes to encourage a more deliberate playstyle. Players will find an initial boost to elemental damage and range, coupled with an increase in elemental damage scaling. However, this comes at the cost of reduced maximum health and attack speed, alongside a significant decrease in general damage stat growth. To compensate for these adjustments and maintain her signature prowess against formidable foes, Frieren now deals significantly increased damage to Elites, Bosses, and Chest Mimics. Furthermore, a dynamic damage system has been implemented: starting each wave with a damage reduction that gradually increases over time, rewarding sustained combat and strategic positioning.
Introducing the Zoltrak, the Killer Magic Weapon
A standout addition is the completely new, four-tiered signature weapon: Zoltrak, the Killer Magic. This weapon system operates independently, moving away from the previous architecture. Early tiers utilize rapid projectiles, evolving into a mid-game powerhouse with piercing and bouncing capabilities. The ultimate form unleashes a sustained beam attack, complete with burn, slow effects, charge indicators, and an expanded hit area. Its base critical hit chance scales with each level, ensuring a satisfying progression.
Seven Grimoires and Collection-Based Growth
The mod introduces seven unique Grimoires, each offering distinct passive bonuses and collection-based growth:
* **Flying Grimoire:** Enhances speed, dodge, and movement.
* **Combat Grimoire:** Boosts damage, attack speed, and periodic spellcasting.
* **Flower Field Grimoire:** Focuses on harvesting, trees, and healing flowers.
* **Mana Grimoire:** Increases elemental damage, range, and projectile penetration.
* **Defense Grimoire:** Provides bonuses to health, armor, and dodge.
* **Detection Grimoire:** Improves luck, pickup range, and chest mimic encounters.
