During this phase, you’ll be granted trigger chances for Fish Hooks. The number of chances you receive directly corresponds to the number of Elites and Bosses you vanquished in that wave. This thoughtful implementation acts as a safety net, guaranteeing you a minimum number of Fish Hooks by Wave 20 in Endless mode, even if luck hasn’t been on your side.
Enhanced Drop Probabilities
Beyond just guaranteeing chances, the “we need FishHook/我们需要鱼钩” mod also subtly influences the types of Fish Hooks you might find:
- Elite Drops: Upon defeating an Elite, you have a 79% chance of getting a normal Fish Hook, a 19% chance for a Cursed Fish Hook, and a slim 2% chance for no reward.
- Boss Drops: Facing a Boss yields a different focus, with a 79% chance for a Cursed Fish Hook, a 19% chance for a normal Fish Hook, and the same 2% chance for no reward.
